Flapless or key hole minimally invasive dental implant surgery

With recent advances in dental implant surgery techniques and 3- D cone beam CT Scan imaging technology , key hole surgery or minimally invasive dental implant surgery ,is now possible for selected patients. Without the need to raise a gum flap to expose the bone for implant installation, there will be much less post operative bleeding , pain and swelling compared to traditional implant surgery techniques. The picture on the left , shows a root form tooth implant installed using flapless or key hole surgery . Notice the almost bloodless operating field .
